Original, antique gold cuff links, with the advantage not only having the Chester hallmark clearly visible, but they originate from the Art Deco period, and are dated c1936.
The significance of this is that the Chester assay office closed in 1962, and since then, items with this Consumer protection hallmark have been quite sort after.
