Description

For me, personally I love the idea of antique jewellery that has meaning and comes with a story.  The swallow is associated with loyalty, love and peace.   Swallows mate for life, and always return to their nest, so it makes sense that this symbol, used in fine jewellery, is a love token to be given with all sincerity, particularly when the lovers were to be parted, it meant faithfulness and a wish for them to return safely.  This love token was particularly used and cherished during World War One.
